I had watched some of XFiles when it was first released for TV back in mid 90's...then I became more busy, got engaged & all that stuff going on in my young life, so I had forgotten it.
Now, almost 3 decades later I have rediscovered X Files & watching many episodes.....I have learned what I missed out on for many years. I can now appreciate the show's terrific scripts & the marvelous acting.
No Leftist BS in any of the shows, which is refreshing to see for that era. I hignly recommend to all who like myself had forgotten this long forgotten about TV series with some mind jarring episodes as we follow Sully & Mulder in their investigations into the mystical & paranormal world. This show was the "Trailblazer" for many of the TV series regarding the subject of the Paranormal World of humans & non-human entities.
Do they both fall in love?....I don't know because I have many, many consecutive & diff years of episodes ahead of me to yet view. The two work so well together & yet they do question each other's reasoning sometimes on for instance : who they think the bad guys are and out of this world partiicipations sometimes. They both seem married to their jobs & investigations which keeps them together each day of career it appears. Both are brainy & use their gift of a " Sherlock Holmes"-sleuthing approach to the max to crack the cases. Overall a never a dull moment in the fast paced episodes with well conceived sometimes even some spooky action that would be considered impossible in the real world....& yet they can make happen in the X Files. Best watched at night in an oversized comfy sofa with your other half & some popcorn at the ready.

I watched all the episodes up to approx 2 years ago. For me, it all just became about the same each episode....especially in the finds....their "fellowship" as they call it would always put on their same TV faces and act like some bent nail they found was a big deal.
I constamtly found myself waning as each season went by....even the bros seemed disinterested at times.
I did not share in their jubilee of almost all the finds. I think I was "suckered." In a way I am surprised that a "class action lawsuit" has not been filed by some darn lawyer against The History Channel & the show's creators, etc. For mis leading programming and the such.
