I really wanted to like this film as I am a big supporter of British movies, regardless of how large or small the budget may be. However this film was really disappointing.
The premise was good and the script was okay but the acting was absolutely dire, the characters were under-developed and the general quality of production was very poor. To be honest, it felt like watching a student film.
The one saving grace was the filmography and there were some beautiful shots taken on location.
In conclusion, the film was very amateurish and unfortunately not near good enough to be offered on general release.

An odd film. Started off quite strongly with a good premise but then rapidly went downhill. Very weak performances from the lead actors. None of the characters were likeable or had any real substance. The main character is not the slightest bit upset that her best friend is missing and probably murdered. In fact she continues her holiday unperturbed, staying in the same house that her friend is thought to have been murdered in. It's a very messy plot that wasn't really thought through properly, some of the scenes were completely pointless and added nothing to the story. At one point the main character passes an old man standing outside her (remote) holiday home. The man is coveted in blood. No explanation is given as to why he is covered in blood- is he the murderer or did he happen upon the murder scene? Strangely the main character does not speak to him nor does she report him to the police. In fact he is never mentioned again. The police "investigation" is laughable- the writer clearly did no research into murder investigations and the workings of the police. The ending is just as ridiculous. A very poor effort all round.
