An absolute gem! I came across the first free episode on YouTube, which intrigued me enough to binge-watch the entire series in one sitting-something that's rare these days. The show ticks almost all the boxes, except for the pacing in one or two episodes. It reminded me of Gullak to a great extent, as the narration is flawless. The acting is brilliant across the board, and the storylines will keep you immersed, especially if you grew up in the '70s, '80s, or '90s in India. I could relate to the lead character in a flash. The background score and screenplay are absolutely brilliant. The storyline is quite relatable unless you were born with a silver spoon. SonyLIV is consistently producing gems, especially when compared to a lot of the content on other streaming platforms. A must-watch!

No words can describe the movie completely and do justice to the excellent work spanning across all departments. Everyone involved in the movie left very little room for errors or patchy display as seen in most movies these days. It was sad to see movie being given very few screens in Bangalore on the opening day. More shows were added over the weekend, thanks to the reviews and word of mouth from the audience. I had no hope for Kannada cinema few years ago as most of the scripts had same old stories, loud mouthed heroes and filth pushing them to score decently. Rishab Shetty has taken time to mature and become an ace in the industry today. All the writers have mixed well to generate a proper script that does justice to the regional priorities and the beliefs. Cinematography is really good without any vfx or over the head shots. Direction and acting stand tall across all segments and keep you on the toes throughout the run. Don't miss the movie as it has a very good message to all the humans and takes you back in time to trigger few basic questions we need to ask today from each other.
