  • How is this possible?

How can the same family produce such horribly different results. On the one hand we have Jonathan and Christopher Nolan who have brought us lots of joy with their creations. And on the other, we have John Nolan, their uncle, one of the most talentless people in TV show business. He cannot play a single emotion. He constantly over- and underacts. For some reason he sometimes starts using fricative Rs to sound like a Pathe presenter from 1935. For the past 20 years his entire career has been based on his two very talented nephews, and I applaud them for supporting their family members. But he also nearly destroyed this show for me. Next time, boys, just send him a check.

  • The worst character

John Greer performed by John Nolan is the worst combination. Greer is a cardboard cutout villain. "You earned my highest esteem" - and he shoots the person who earned that esteem. And then he lovingly talks to computer hard drives as if he really was in love with it. The only thing he lacks is a furry cat to pet on his arm. And it could actually work if only Nolan wasnt so talentless. I suspect the only reason he got the role is because his nephew is the "creator" of this show. He simply cannot handle the enormously difficult task this role has assigned to him. He can't play cold, he can't play viscious, he can't play tragic which they tried to give him in his flashbacks. He can't even play disappointed - the simplest act. All he can do is be an Anthony Hopkins wannabe, walk and talk slowly with (WHY?!) a british accent and... that's about it.

  • The most yank episode

This is THE most yank episode of the entire show. See, yanks can ALWAYS tell you where the east, west and south are in their city, but that's the full extent of their knowledge of geography. In this episode they use the name Genricka for a girl who is from "Solntsevo, Russia". First, there is no such name Genricka. Not in Russia, nor in any other country. And second, Solntsevo is not a separate town. It's a district in Moscow. But the producers heard about the infamous mafia group there and decided to just go with it. After all, they live in Rodeo Drive, California.
