This is a very difficult but very necessary movie, which shows us upfront the destructive foolishness of allowing Christianity to dictate politics, and of enabling dangerous authoritarians to represent people.
Brazil has been - and still is - saddled with multitudes of delinquents with Christian discourse. There is no upside to that obscenity, and we all must strive to get rid of that disease.
The movie is a bit tedious, for sure. So much of what it shows we have painfully watched happens with our own eyes. But perhaps not enough people have the integrity to remember what has happened and how fiercely it must be stopped and corrected.

The cast is sympathetic and fun, but this season end episode suffers from an unconvincing situation on its first two thirds.
Far too much time is spent trying to decide the best way of implementing what is rather clearly an unwise decision. It amounts to willingly putting all the known eggs in a sole basket when the stakes are very high indeed.
The last third part is somewhat better, with a couple of genuine surprises.
All through the episode we get a lot of reminescence of the characters' past and the situations they went through together. It is a series that has heart, if not always the most logical plot.

This is a gas. Entirely subtlety-free and reality-snubbing. Like something endorsed by QANON and Conservapedia to "denounce the left" would be.
The entire plot feels like a fever dream from MAGA, unfiltered. Did Trump pay for this? He ought to.
I was about a third into the movie's duration when I found myself wondering if they will reveal that there are space aliens behind it all.
It is just so entirely absurd, so gloriously divorced from any resemblance of reality.
They should play this at Republica conventions.
Unless children are present, that is. Children deserve better. Won't someone think of the children?
