I have been reading and owning the Fantastic Four paper comics since 1973 (when it came to Norway for the first time with norwegian translation) and up to the last one in 1987 (altogether 43 magazines/comics editions). This new film reminded me much of original happenings from these magazines. A very good adaption.
I will not give away much more, so I will reccommend you to go and see the film for yourself!
Some changes could still be seen here as in the original Fantastic Four cartoon from the 1960s in the USA (1970s in Norway), the Silver Surfer was portrayed as male, consistent with his comic book identity as Norrin Radd, the herald of Galactus.
However, in the 2025 reboot film "The Fantastic Four: First Steps", the Silver Surfer is portrayed as female, specifically the character Shalla-Bal, played by Julia Garner. This version is set in an alternate universe and represents a creative departure from the traditional depiction.
Galactus was first introduced to Norwegian readers in the comic series "Et Fantastiske Fire Eventyr" in 1973, specifically in issue #2, titled "Galactus kommer" ("Galactus is coming").
This issue featured the classic Galactus saga originally created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, which also introduced the Silver Surfer. It was part of the early wave of Marvel comics translated and published in Norway during the 1970s.
Looking forward for future episodes of F4 (if they come ;-) )

One of the most scary crim series sent on the Norwegian TV screens as I rember from 1976. I was only 9 years old at that time, but still remember the very scary atmosphere of this film ;-) !
I went to see this film with two 10 year old girls and since I'm 50 year old male/father I had no expectation to like this film as an adult. However, to my great surprise, I found this film to be very good, full of hidden meanings (analogies to important things to do in life and things not to do), good story, great film production, great sceneries, great music, etc., etc. I will not tell more details to not make any spoilers, but can only say that this film is as good for adults as it is for children. I never expected a Norwegian children film to be this good! It can easily compete with the best Hollywood films!! This is the first time I write to IMDb, but this great story inspired me to write for the first time! I will for sure see this film again and again.. :-) ! VERY recommended!!
