Then McGregor enters and it's all down hill from there. Awful acting, barely convincing as a human being. Ruined the movie for us. The voice, the delivery of lines, he looked like a prize heifer and was missing his neck.
Jake did a pretty good job, imo an odd choice for this lead. I enjoyed the fight scenes. Not a patch on the original, but remakes like this never are. No chemistry between him and doctor, which was a miss.
The bad guys were awful, those who could act, couldn't fight and vice versa. Few laugh out loud moments, as it was so bad, all of those moments included McGregor.
Highlights, BK Cannon, severely underused throughout the movie, what a shame and the glorious Arturo Castro.

Being on the lookout for new Christmas movies, I stumbled on this. Billy Baldwin, Denise Richards, I thought it'll be alright.. Nooooooo,totally wrong
Father and son trade lives, and nothing but dull, poor acting and zero laughs follow. It could and should of been better, even the smallest bit, it's not exactly a new formula for a movie plot
The acting is absolutely shocking, it's laughable at times and it'll be the only laugh you'll get, well.. unless you read Shominy's review. Now that is funny!
There are many many Christmas movies out there that are much better than this. Do yourself a favour and skip.. you'll thank me

Where to begin on this one. Oblivion is a visual treat for the first 45 minutes or so, then I got a little bored of the same thing.
What It lacks is dialogue, characters and acting. Olga Kurylenko is lucky she is pretty hot as she couldn't act her way out of a paper bag. All she manages to do in this movie is move her eyes and that's not even convincing.
If Cruise wasn't leading this shambles this movie would have fallen by the way side and went straight to DVD.
I'm a fan of Melissa Leo and what we got to see of her was nothing to write home about.
Zoe Bell, who we know for her excellent stunts and balls to the wall attitude was wasted in this role, she did nothing, didn't even speak. Huge let down.
