Alright just got back from seeing this one in 3D. I will keep this simple. Not very good at all. Acting, storyline, even the 3D was not special. This movie has run its course. Keep in mind I knew before hand what to expect but it still was not good. It felt like the Epic movie, Date movie of the horror genre. Don't get me wrong I enjoy mindless movies that help pass the time. But the movie needs to at least make you care about it. Actors need to try, not just phone in the work. Well either way I feel it was the worst of the four and hopefully the final one. If you feel the need to go see it good luck and hopefully it isn't as bad for you!!

I got to see 1408 today and I must say I was not disappointed. The movie had a terrific pace to it and it made it you feel like you were a part of the action. Thankfully the movie looked sharp and crisp and with limited cgi. This horror movie is definitely more of a psychological thriller than a pure gore flic so you are never quite sure which direction it is headed. Mr. Cusack and Mr. Jackson both did a terrific job acting which help sell the story. I was entertained and I highly recommend this movie. I hope that horror movies stay on this track and continue to be more than just blood and guts. Respect the audience and we will pay to see your flics

Finally got around to see Next today during the matinée hours. I had been looking forward to this flic since it opened. Hadnt heard much about it but the plot seemed interesting and Cage is usually pretty good. I must be honest and say the movie bored the crap out of me. Not as bad as redline but still a very slow and uneventful movie. Nothing about it grabbed a hold me and made me want to care about it. The way it just prodded along with little emotion and cgi that wasn't too hot, made this seem like it was over a two hour movie. I'm still trying to understand who the terrorists were and why they were doing what they were. To enjoy a movie you need to care about the cast and get the feeling you are with them for the ride and unfortunately Next had me walking out of the theater unhappily saying next!
