Westminster tea ladies Min and Vi are a little jealous that their colleague, cleaning lady Lil has been awarded an MBE, but they still throw a party to celebrate her good fortune.
I think I knew what was coming, when you see the name Johnny Speight in the credits, you know to expect some racist language, and there is quite a lot of it, it's unpalatable.
Some of the dialogue however is phenomenal, and the acting talents of Dandie Nichols, Molly Sugden and Patricia Hayes are incredible, the gags about Churchill, MPs and feet are actually funny.
That scene where Sugden does a monologue with a statue of Churchill shows how good she was.
It's a shame it didn't become a series, this definitely had some potential, the jokes they could have had with MPs of all flavours, it could have worked.
6/10.

Raynor decides it's time to cash in; he arranges a meeting with Oakwood to hand over all of his evidence, but one of them has been followed, and the case is stolen. Raynor knows that his cover is blown.
It's a great final episode; it's very satisfying, and it's very neatly tied up. All of the dangling threads from the first couple of episodes are explained and concluded.
It's quite an exciting episode; it certainly packs a few shocks and surprises. It's quite a bleak conclusion, not afraid to wipe out several characters. I had my suspicions about Mr. Pink.
Leslie Grantham delivers yet another great performance; he's terrific. I don't think that during all the years I watched him playing Dirty Den, I appreciated just how good he was. Credit also goes to Julie Graham.
I had no idea there was a second series; this has made me want to order it.

Drug pusher and lover of classical music, Henry Ellis, sends Raynor to do a drug deal on board a boat at sea. Unfortunately for Raynor, Ellis's right-hand man, Tate, has switched the cash.
It's a bit of a comedy caper episode; it's perhaps the weakest entry in the series. It's not bad as such; it has some interest, but as a viewer, you're made to believe too many random occurrences-it's too much.
Raynor, of course, gets to show off his sheer genius. I liked the ending. Does this mean that the final episode is a continuation of the story?
The main interest comes from Raynor's mate with the bike; he does add some interest as you're keen to learn about his involvement.
The music is horrendous; it's too loud and overbearing. If only they had turned it down a little bit. There's a difference between effective and deafening.
Ken Hutchinson and Christopher Fulford were both excellent, but once again, without any doubts, it's Leslie Grantham who steals the show.
