I've admittedly seen more than I should on Ted Bundy. When I saw this one I thought, ughh not another one. When I found out it was based Robert Keppel's book I realized I had to try it.
This is the definitive series on Bundy. You don't need to watch any others. It is so well done with so many interviews of people that have never been interviewed before.
The added bonus is seeing Robert Keppel finally get his due with his career and all his hard work. He's always been a personal hero of mine and this series shows why. Make sure you watch this one.

Very good documentary series. The interviews with the family and friends are heart breaking. I can't imagine what they've gone through.
I am glad this series spent time on not just the events and the perpetrator but also the family and friends. They are victims too. Victims of media and social media as well. The online culture we've allowed to take root in our society is despicable sometimes. Seeing what true crime "influencers" put these people through is just so hard to watch. The speculation, false information, accusations... it's so wrong. I hope that we can do something to make that stop.

I've seen a few documentaries involving "Cybersleuths" but this one shows them in all their horrible glory.
Don't come here for a documentary on the horrible murders in Idaho. That isn't what you'll find here. What you'll find here is an unintended documentary on how crime "influencers" destroy modern investigations and honestly how they destroy the lives of innocent people. The sheer arrogance and entitlement of these social media influencers is something to see. They really think they are gods gift to the planet.
Jenna Cannella and Bullhorn Betty really stand out. They both sure seem to think they are something special. Should honestly be sued for defamation for people she accused, and that's just this case. Who knows how many times they've done it before.
There needs to be a serious discussion on how to curb this kind of thing during open investigations. All it does is hurt the investigation. No matter what these people think, they don't help.
