After watching the initial trailer, I was looking forward to this movie. Was little bit fearful that the team might add typical masala or overdo things to spoil the fun but on the contrary no such thing happened and it turned out to be more than what I had expected.
Movie is set in an era before independence and captures the life of normal peoples as it used to be. you could straight away relate to those little nuances and etiquette's of the cast and fall in love with them. It beautifully captures the locale of that time with simple life, the way people talk and dress up. Cinematography was awesome.
Story was simple and did not had any unusual turns but still it keeps you engaged due to the way it is narrated. There are funny moments which doesn't seem forced but arise due to the general talks or behavior of characters. Songs are not forced, but seems like part of story and helps it move forward.
Acting wise everyone did there job sincerely, no over the top acts. Although everyone was good but Ammy Virk and Sargun Mehta stands out with there performance.
I have rated it 10, couldn't have wished more then what it delivered. Go and watch this delightful journey into the life of early 30's and 40's from the past century. This one is not to be missed.
