Of Charlie Chaplins The Kid. A nice and emotional movie. What I don't like are the romanticising south and under play the countywide conservative evangelic behaviour. Yes, there are scenes - including grandma exchange scene - but as I wrote, against revenge and resentful are always showing "beauty".

What I really enjoy are the acting of the main character and the boy. More than entertaining. Timberland provide a solid and believable character. I also don't like normality hand held camera. But this are the first one I really enjoy it and it fits to the story. It underlines the raff side of the story.

I expect to see on Apple TV. In th last couple of month Netflix release mostly social media style shows and movies. This show is totally differed and after canceling 1899 a surprise as mystery thriller based on a comic. 1 murder victim and 4 time lines with clear different production design and colouring. A dense production based on excellently written scripts. Compliments to the director. None of this would have been possible if the cast had not been so fortunate. Especially the choice of the 4 detectives is phenomenal. A joy of acting down to the smallest supporting role. Even though the composition of the pictures is in the finest cinemascope, I would have wished for a corresponding camera here as well as in the setting of the various time series, but that is complaining on a high level. A happy hand also with the soundtrack.

The episodes fly by and the nice thing is, like a good book, you can watch the show more than once. Then you'll definitely get more of the little Easter eggs. The scene changes between the timelines are wonderful.

I am thrilled..

A wonderful story about loss and finding. About the destruction and lack of cultural empathy of friends. Tells you the strength and weaknesses of a woman. The inability to recognise alliances in the sense that the enemy of my enemy is my friend. No Marvel film I know of to date has dared to tell such a complex story, which is good for the series. The hope of an action overloaded film a la Avenger is not fulfilled here. With this film, a new promising chapter has been added to the MCU. Let's hope that the makers, like the moviegoers, have the courage to get involved, it would be worth it. Away from pure comic entertainment, towards more depth.
