  • Pure garbage

Don't waste an hour and a half of your life on this movie.

The acting is horrible as they emphasize or downplay supposed key moments.

The filming is done most probably with a mobile in 4K mode or something like that.

The main actor aka the director should stick to directing as the acting is so sub par it's ridiculous.

  • Corny as hell

It's always difficult to talk about a movie when obviously it's not worth 1 or 10 which most people here gave.

I gave it a 3 as it was corny as hell and the action was so predictable that it doesn't deserve more. I'm not sure why those actors signed for this movie but this wouldn't even make the Hallmark shortlist.

The supposed superhero comes across as a cheap Nathan Fillion and Abi Van Adel who is meant to be some sort of soft hearted woman comes across as stiff and tight.

Not sure why there seemed to be a need for a Green Superhero but I guess with Climate Change and all the script writers wanted to show their implication or whatever.

All in all: don't waste 94 minutes ofyour time on this pile of B/C rated movie garbage.

  • Jumanji meets Beetlejuice with the ax of MIke Myers

Where to start? Story line is like so many and one wonders when people will learn. I mean seriously: a curse from the 18th century? Just a tad too corny. The whole feel is like Jumanji, using a ouija board and then the nasty ghost arrives holding Mike Myers ax.

Nothing against the main characte, Tony Todd, but he's a poor mans Geoffrey Holder/Baron Samedi from Live and Let Die.or as someone else put it: Papa Shango getting ready for the Royal Rumble!

Is there something positive....it's not filmed with a handheld camera and thus has a professional feel to it. That's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 3.

If you really got nothing else to do, it could be a time killer movie, otherwise save your 1 1/2 hours and do something else.

  • Not as bad as everyone says

I watched the movie last night and it's by far not as bad as everyone says. Dillon isn't really good and should probably stick to something else but all in all it was an OK movie. Gibson appears only sporadically but does so at critical moments and keeps the movie going.

  • Good without many surprises

The actors do a good job with Patrick Schwarzenegger standing out. The directing is pushing the psychedelic button with the wannabe eary music and reddish and yellowish light effects a bit too much in my opinion but all in gets the point across. Not sure I'd have payed to see it at the movies as it has it's lengths and with a run time of 100 minutes it's pushing its luck. For those that like movies with mind tricks, dual personality issues and so forth, you'll find what you need here.

  • Cheaply made and bad acting

The title says it all. Cheap slasher movie Don't waste your time with this, unless you got 1 1/2 hours of your life to give away and just want to see pathetic blood and "please don't kill me" scenes. The other reviews are clearly bought or by members of the movie.I mean seriously...10 points? Make it less apparant and rate yourself 7-8.5 and people might actually believe you...and Indie Film Making can get much better than this ridiculous crap.

  • Oscar worthy documentary

I watched this this weekend and as a regular of TPB and knowing what has been going on by following the blog and also by having donated 50$ for the movie I was really pleasantly surprised by the way the it was filmed. I felt in a thriller where the main characters evolved and told us their side of the story. It was also interesting to see how 2 out of the 3 end up in Cambodia and Loas and have families there, something that I completely ignored. This is a absolute must see for all people who want to keep the internet free, to keep freedom of speech a democratic act and most of all a documentary about how Hollywood with the help of the US Government tries to bully other nations into complying with their every whim and desire. It would be interesting to see the rest of world impose Trade Sanctions on the US for threatening to do the same on you. Their economy would crash in a split second. So there is one last sentence: CHINA and Russia... keep your internet open to the rest of us so we can be good pirates!!!

  • Real Good Show

Living in Luxembourg I can watch this show on German TV. I stumbled on it for the 1st episode and got caught into it straight away. For a TV series it's amazing how it really tries to stick to the movies by having the main character live in the house on the Cote d'Azur that got blown up in one of the movies. Vance plays real good and the other actors do a fine job too. Great to see that François Berléand as Inspector Tarconi has been taken over from the movies into the series. I highly recommend watching this series as it evolves in a great way and the 6 episodes aired so far have been superb. Can't wait to see the next 6.
