I agree with Ronida - worst episode ever!
The point to mysteries is being able to follow along . . . And maybe even figure it out before the detectives do! With this episode, not an option. It's not that the clues were there, but too challenging to put together . . . No, the clues simple weren't provided at all! That is, not until the end. So, no, sorry, no way to figure it out. The viewer's only choice is to wait out the endless tedium until the clues-and the killer-are finally revealed. And once they're revealed . . . Well, the appropriate response is "Yuck - WHY did I waste me time on this???"
I love Brokenwood Mysteries, and look forward to each new season. But this was just 90 minutes of my life that I'll never get back. And, honestly, if this had been the first episode of "Brokenwood" I'd ever seen, it would also have been the last.
I'll repeat: Yuck!!!

I agree with "scrubs did it better" (posted by abp-01663) . . . If I want to watch the cast of an hour-long drama burst into song and dance, I'll go back and re-watch a few episodes of Eli Stone.
I watch Code Black for the stories, and this nonsense was just an unwanted interruption.
I don't know if the writers were all down with the flu this week, so somebody had to find something to fill the empty space, but this was a disaster. I love Luis Guzmán (he's the reason I'm still watching Code Black) . . . But I don't need to see him dance.
Fast-forward through the ridiculousness, and there is a story hidden in there somewhere . . . You just have to look for it.
P. S. Am I the only one who's getting sick of the "Rob Lowe Show"?
