As someone who is very interested in current events, politics and world history, I'm somewhat ashamed to admit that I did not know anything about Silk Road or had even followed the trial of Ross Ulbricht.
Yes, I did read the headlines announcing the verdict but it was only after watching this fine documentary did I learn about the trial and the issues surrounding Silk Road and the charges against Mr. Ulbricht.
The "facts" are placed in context and many questions remain but what is presented in this film should be seen by all Americans and people seeking justice. This film is a must see even if it's only to get your footing on where Internet technology is heading and the dangers that lurk out there for all of us.
Again, this is a "must see film" and I implored everyone take the time to view this film.

I watched a lot of television, and this is the best show on TV!
Excellent cast. writing and direction. Engaging, thoughtful and entertaining, every moment of each episode. More happens within the first 30 minutes of this program than a full hour of most other programs.
William Macy is at his very, very best and Ms. Rossum is a pure delight! If he wasn't a star before this, Jeremy Allen White is someone you better pay attention to because he is magic.
But no one gives me more joy on this program than Ms. Joan Cusack. If she doesn't win an Emmy for her performance as the reclusive, bewildered and wacky Sheila Jackson then there's no justice in the world. Performances by Emma Kenney and Steve Howey are two more stars of this excellent ensemble enterprise that are not to be missed.
This is appointment television at it's best and you know that because when each episode ends, it leaves you wanting more.

I stumbled across this film late one night when there was nothing on HBO, Showtime or the countless other channels in our now 500-channel universe. "Once Around" has a great cast, an excellent story line and a song track that I just love.
Any film that has Richard Dreyfuss and Holly Hunter as leads and Gena Rowlands as a supporting actress should be a must see film and I don't know how this one got passed me when it was first released. It seems Richard Dryfuss's "Where Bob?" got all the attention in 1991 and this film seems to have come in under the radar.
"Once Around" displays real emotions, conflicts and family dynamics in a way that makes you laugh and makes you cry. Danny Aiello gives a great performance without going over the top and a young, Laura San Giacoma, before her "Just Shoot Me" days gives a glimpse of the star she should have become.
Congratulations to all who were involved in the endeavor.
