Ok if you cannot see this in 3D there is no point to this film. If you have the requisite equipment open a can, don the glasses and you should have an amusing hour and half.
It reminds me of those Disney 3 D experience cinemas of the 80's where you are just waiting to be squirted with water or tilted in your seat. In fact it was promoted in the 4DX format designed in South Korea and shown around the world. Make sure you get to experience Brendan Fraser spitting toothpaste in your face for example. There are many other 3D gimmicks and that is the main purpose of this tongue in cheek romp. The plot is minimal so you can skip any boring bits and not miss much.
But as a 3D movie genre it has its place. As for the special effects, Avatar it is not, just a fun 3D family movie - enjoy it if you can.

As a sci fi B movie with a special effects budget the size of a Giganotosaurus it is pretty cool. I enjoyed the crazy dino motorbike chase scenes they are technically quite brilliant. We cheered on the feathery dinos although this all seems so ridiculous in the cold climate depicted. The lack of direction of the cast is laugh out load funny but the real pain is the absence of any credible storyline. How can a movie franchise with a budget of this size end up with writing as empty as this? We deserve better. But it still enjoyable if you love your Jurassic scaly craziness. Crack open a beer and have fun with it as it must surely be the last one.
