  • Great Comedy

This is the best comedy I have seen after 'What About Bob'. I was laughing so loud that at one point I thought I was going to die. My wife came running from the kitchen to see what had happened to me.

Vinay Pathak did a wonderful job as innocent, good-hearted singer who is invited by Mr Goshal to make fun of him. Instead, his own fun is made by divine intervention.

They say God takes care of the innocent ones. Same thing happens with Mr Pathak here.

A must see movie if you are a lover of comedy movies. This movie contains no songs, no ishq-vishq, no villains, no action scenes and no special effects but still this movie is better than all those movies that contain all that. The movie runs only hour and a half. It's quick to the point comedy.

  • A great film about love, marriage and fidelity

Reena Roy gave an amazing performance in this movie. She looked absolutely beautiful and acted very well. In those days there was Reena Roy, Hema Malini, and Rekha. These were real beauties. Today there are half naked actresses and they are like this because they don't have beauty and substitute for beauty by exposing their skin. Rishi Kapoor, the born actor, as usual did a wonderful job. Jatinder's role was just normal. Nothing spectacular.

The movie is about how after marriage wife should be totally committed to her husband and all previous alliances, loves and relations should burn in the sacred fire at the time of marriage (in case of Hindus).

The music by Lakshmikant Pyarelal was absolutely melodious. Many movies have been made on this theme of three angle love till date but this was one of the original ones.

  • Krishna Sudama Story

What a wonderful movie this was. The only drawback is the flashy songs of Sahir Khan (Shahrukh Khan). Irfan Khan performed so well in this movie that it leaves you stunned. Shahrukh Khan was his usual, nothing special. Lara Dutta did a good job in this movie.

The movie is very emotional. The last half an hour or so is very emotional. You can't escape from shedding tears. I think the movie should have stayed simple and all the flashy songs and dances should have been spared from the movie. They were nothing but distraction from the core story.

Billu (Irfan Khan) and Sahir Khan meeting should have been explored more. It would have been good for Shahrukh if he had played the role of Billu Barber and someone else should have played Sahir's role. Irfan Khan and Lara Dutta stole the show. the movie belongs to them.
