Great that the network enabled these up amd coming filmmakers to take a shot woth small budgets. Would like to see more of this from Hollywood in general. Tick Warning -- by far the stand out in the collection.
Beautiful cinematography and production design... where did they find that castle to film in?!? Takes the original's plotline and completely modernizes it. Great scares throughout and separate story lines that merge by the end into one hell of a finale. A gothic horror throwback jem!
This one falls somewhere between the millions spent on Cloverfield and the few thousand spent on The Blair Witch. Great acting and character arcs for a horror film, awesome affects and stunts for a lower budgeted sci fi film (under 5 million) and enough twists and turns to keep you jumping! I mean -- how did they get the timing of that snow so perfect?!? And the Alien scenes with the crazy doctor?!? Highly reccomend for the horror sci fi fan.
