The characters and premises are borrowed from Altered Carbon TV series (not book), but seems like the storywriter(s) do not understand the characters. There is no envoy intuition at all in this animation, characters run around doing normal (wrong) things. Takeshi Kovacs also doesn't behave like the character in the book nor TV series. I was disappointed with this.
I've not enjoyed a movie like this for quite a while, truly enjoyable. The cast are spectacular, and the main lead plays the character very well. Bravo.
