Yes the demon in Nun costume looks scary. Even in one of the earlier movies when they show this painting it had good impact. But beyond that there is nothing much.

I think its time Hollywood move's away from a scene where the demon either gets sucked into an abyss or taken away in a twister or burns to ashes in the final scene. This has been shown in so many movies to show the devil has been defeated. Now it has become so predictable its boring to go through it.

I fast forwarded most of the movie.

Lack of an engaging plot is a major problem with this movie. Not a single interesting character.

It is a snoozefest.

What an absolute mess. The makers were not sure which audience they were targeting. We don't know if this is an attempt at spoof or if they were really sincere in making a horror movie. Finished it just for the sake of starting it. I do not know how this movie has recieved a rating of above 6. Just waste of time.

Watched this after seeing high ratings here but was only disappointed. Was expecting something along the lines of Taken but that's alright. Even if we had something engaging it would have been good. Any movie with flashback shown in few seconds usually sucks. This technique has reached it's expiry date. There is no point in showing some imagery continuously. It's neither realistic but cinematic it's just ridiculous going nowhere. The character overcomes everyone with one hammer even people with guns. And we are supposed to believe he is a toughie with some strange past which made him so. Better watch Taken or 8mm again.
