The first episode of "Twin Peaks" is a classic. It was one of the best films ever made in the 1990's regardless of the medium. It was something you could not take your eyes off of.
Much has been made about the fact David Lynch never wanted to solve the murder of Laura Palmer. When the mystery went on & on viewers got mad and then tuned out. I stuck with the show until the end. I must say as a viewer "The public was sold on a mystery of Laura Palmer" and it was the biggest mystery since "Who Shot J.r.".
As viewers We invested our time into the show. As season one winded down the mystery was not solved. 4 Months later with the season 2 premiere it still wasn't solved and that was the final straw for most people. (It also didn't help that ABC put the show on Saturdays).
By the time the show solved the mystery (ABC FORCED David LYNCH TO DO SO) the show had already run out of gas. In May of 1990 on Donahue Mark Frost promised viewers that "When the death is solved it may open up Pandora's Box of other strange things). Well that didn't happen. The show had no master plan. It became a weekly exercise of weirdness after the mystery was solved.
I still however enjoyed the show but I think after the murder was solved the show should of ended the season then. It would of gave them time to come up with another story-line. Instead the show kept going but had no focus until the last few episodes.
It is still a show worth watching. I can't wait for the new show.

Not all "Christmas Television Movies" are bad. Some of them are but this film "Snow" is very good. It is "Christmas Magic".
In this film Ashley Williams plays a zookeeper who unknowingly has one of Santa's stolen reindeer in her zoo.
Nick Snowden, who is really Santa Claus, falls for Sandy Brooks, a pretty zookeeper who works at the zoo from which he must rescue Buddy, a young reindeer who has not yet learned to fly. He needs her help to get Buddy out, so he follows her home. Nick meets Lorna, the landlord and owner of the boarding house where Sandy stays. She thinks Nick is a tenant, gets to know him, and lets him stay in the boarding house. Nick meets Hector, whose mother is a postal worker. Hector figures out that Nick is Santa Claus. Nick meets Sandy and falls for her. Sandy falls for him too and is unaware that he is Santa Claus. She helps Nick get Buddy out of the zoo and back to the North Pole. Nick usually tele- port himself in and out by mirror, but the only way the mirror works is by using North Pole snow. Buck Seger is a hunter who works at the zoo and has a crush on Sandy. He sees Nick as a rival and researches that Buddy is from the North Pole. He plans to sell Budd.
I loved this film. I will watch it again

This film is almost one of those that you will "love it" or "hate it". Now I will admit this television film is not perfect but it reminds me of a tone that the Disney Live Action Films had in the 1960's and 1970's".
What the story is about a woman named Wendy. She is trying to save her family business. It is a candy store that was started by her late father. She runs the shop with her mother. She also has a small child.
Seeing that she needs money fast she goes to stay with her friend Angie and gets a job at a family owned department store and she slowly falls for Tom one of the owners. This also makes her a target of a Teanna who is out for all sorts of blood.
The film is not perfect however if you like "Christmas films" then you will love this.
