  • What did I just watch...

Yesterday I watched a film about unbelievable personal and universal struggles of motherhood, about sacrifices a mother makes to save her child and keep her family from falling apart, about the immense powers a mother possesses when her child is threatened by danger, the importance of mother figure in family dynamics and decision making, and a little bit about surfing for mothers. That great film is called "The Fantastic Four: First Steps".

  • I really wanted to like his show, but Esmeralda ruined every episode

It's not a bad show and it has potential to grow and become better, but Esmeralda is way too cringy for my taste.

I tried fast-forwarding through her scenes, but there is way too munch of here.

I've read several revies on this site and for the first time I think it is unanimous - Esmeralda is ruining this show.

I've watched the first 5 episodes and had to stop because of her. I'll try season 2 when Esmeralda is hopefully gone for good.

  • Saddest show ever!

This is the saddest show ever! Everyone is sad, depressed or borderline crying the entire time. Not a single characters smiles for more than a few seconds, because something terrible is always about to happen...

A young neurosurgeon Maggie comes home to a Canadian village after 15 years, or one year (timeline changes from episode to episode) because her practice is under investigation. She is very sad. Her father is also sad. The hot male lead is also sad.

Every episode of the first season she saves someone's life. I am guessing, before she arrived people died daily without medical care. It's a sad sad place.

As the show continues, characters find new reason to be sad and cry about, but not the chemistry or acting abilities. I guess it's another reason to be sad.

When a new minor character arrives, he/she will requite immediate medical attention by the end of the episode, causing further sadness.

The most common phrase spoken in every single scene "let's talk about" is followed by characters sitting and talking while getting extremely sad. Because they never talk about happy things, only never-ending issues and problems. And then they cry.

This show is very sad to watch, so do it at your own risk of being depressed or borderline crying after.
