I absolutely cant get all the raves about this movie. Absolutely ridiculous! There was no depth to the movie at all. "My all family is at this table" really??? Since when f*king a guy makes them your family.
I like luc besson usually but except having sexy main characters there was no essence to this movie.... it was not smart at all and characters were not acting in any way natural
I thought i would see something like Amelie when it started. But this was not at all anything like that. The characters were so fake. No one was real feeling to them except maybe the doctor. Yes, you would argue that this was done deliberately to make the movie magical. But no it didn't do it for me. There are many ways making the movie magical without making the characters weirdos... again Amelie is such a good example of it... anyways, judge it for yourselves..
I usually don't weite reviews but seeing that there was no review on this film is a bit sad. What a breath of fresh air. Really enjoyed every part of it. Very special movie, very different to what we are all used to but at the same time it is not anything marginal or weird. It is proper sweet smart Christmas movie...
