The biggest issue I have is the introduction of a new character played by Alice Krige and I just can't take the character seriously she now has more cosmetics on her face then when she played the Borg queen, she looked better as the Borg queen, she honestly can hardly string a sentence together her face has so much plastic in it and her lips are so puffed up, I know this seems like such a trivial thing to give a negative review and it may seem like I'm being harsh on the woman, but go watch the episode for yourself and tell me I'm wrong.
It's a unrated slayer Halloween teenager horror in my opinion, it's not very original by any means you are not going to see anything you haven't scene before, unless this is your first teen slayer movie which I highly doubt, but the acting is good, the plot well I mean it's a guy in a scary costume stalking teenagers at a Halloween inspired amusement park, like I said not very original but it gets the job done, but the real star of the show for me was actually the costume design and the set design of Hell fest it self I really looks great. To top it all of it has the late horror actor Tony Todd in a supporting role. I personally found this film for me to have just enough violence and gore as to not spoil as to just be doing it for the shock value, so my final verdict is not a original by any stretch but still worth a watch and a good movie.
One of the worst movies I've ever watched, I only watched it because I was scrolling looking for something to watch with my two young daughters and they so the title cover and wanted to watch it, it was a big mistake, the film has no redeeming qualities other then the title cover, the acting, and casting is awful the lead actress is supposed to be playing a school child I'm assuming teenager but she looks about 30, (after looking at her profile she was born in 1991 so yes she was over 30 when the film was released) the singing I guess isn't the worst I've heard and is at least bearable, but the worse thing about the movie is the plot and editing, it's all over the place, I mean it's confusing for me, never mind my 6 years old daughter. It feels like the whole movie is made by a a couple of 20 year old students pretending to be film makers. Do yourself a favour find something else to watch with the kids.
