That's a hellish movie! If you've already watched and liked Hereditary and The Witch, you'll surely enjoy this one. Sally Hawkins delivers an Oscar-worthy, marvelous performance (it's no accident she already has an Oscar). If I'm not mistaken, I think this might be her first horror film. At least two scenes will make you nauseated and turn away, quite agonizing. The plot doesn't explain certain things, leaving the viewer to wonder why and how they happened, but it doesn't spoil the movie. Undoubtedly a great film and one of the best of the year in its genre!

Forget everything you saw in the previous movies. This film is really a reboot with a new way of thinking about who is truly good or evil. We don't have the famous sexy scenes nor the rampant and distressing violence of the previous films. Watch it with a different perspective and a new way of seeing the nuances between the tribe represented in this film and the people considered normal. There are few brutal scenes, little interaction between the characters, and a significant shift in concepts. Even with all these changes, I would give it a rating of 6; it's not a blockbuster, but it's also not completely terrible.

Dude, this movie could have been good. The story started off intriguing but quickly went off the rails. They mixed magic, zombies, and a frantic action attempt, but it didn't work out very well. The weak effects might be forgivable, but the acting... left a lot to be desired.

It's incredible to think how Thomas Ian Nicholas got caught up in this mess. If you have some free time that you won't miss later, do something else and stay away from this movie. If you decide to watch it, it's at your own risk. The zombies are pathetic, and the plot doesn't make any sense. Overall, I think a rating of 4 is quite generous.
