it takes either an amazing, or a terrible movie for me to make a comment......this film was an amazing one!! i saw the trailer and thought it look so crazy i had to watch it...im glad i did!! this isn't the type of thing you would expect to come from Disney, they clearly sold out on this movie...and it was for the best! walt woulda turned in his ice pack at the thought of it....but woulda thawed out by the end result and danced the conga!!!! you can tell from the graphics of the movie that this is Japanese and i think that brings the most of the amazement to the film...what they lack on drawing in some aspects gets completely ignored by the amazing and perfect detail drawn on the most unnecessary of objects! your glued from start to finish! im 29 years old...my 4 year old daughter chose to watch shrek, so i chose to sit in the other room and watch ponyo alone....im so glad i did! id watch this movie over and over again!!....i hope my 2 year old son likes it hahahah!!! end result....WATCH PONYO AS SOON AS YOU CAN!!!

wow..what can i say???? this is by far not the kinda movie i would usually watch...but i can say that 100% i enjoyed it to the max!!! the film is set out beautifully and the actors do a very good job!!! the storyline is rather a kids story, but works amazing as an adult movie!! i was completely wrapped in this film! and it got better and better the more i was wrapped!!! i would definitely recommend this movie! it seems late 2009 is producing a great deal of new movie ideas that work great! thumbs up!!! i don't really hav nothing else to say.....i don't wanna give away any spoilers, ..just...watch the movie!!! enjoy the movie!!! buy the movie!!! lol!!!

i wasn't to sure whether to watch this movie, the only decent movie like this that springs to mind is starship troopers, and yet i could name a million crap movies like this....but the IMDb rating told me to give it a shot....and im so glad i did!! its got a great storyline that doesn't need too much explanation, giving you the chance to concentrate on the characters! the movie keeps u glued and there's not a dull moment in it! its got a lotta comedy factor to it which is mostly brought to you by the main character! the effects are decent enough to look "realistic" and there's no stupid cgi that looks like a cardboard cutout floating across the scene!! i wont say too much but the ending makes you hope there's gonna be a sequel....i hope there is..and i hope its just as good as this!!!...7 outta 10 from me!!
