  • We are constantly stuck in winter

A college drama based on a webtoon where rich and poor students all have issues and struggle to resolve them as individuals and as groups. It is a gentle drama where we see romance but the main core of the story is a bromance. The acting is ok but I did not connect with any of the lead characters and was more interested in some of the minor characters who's stories we did not see.

  • The moon reflected in water

A Ronin wanders the countryside looking for work after he is thrown out of his clan for gambling on himself in a fight. He is an honest and upright person though and often through his naivety or good heart encounters trouble wherever he goes. Luckily for him he is accompanied by his loving and understanding wife who gives him unwavering support until they can return to be with their son. It is a gentle enjoyable series with heartwarming stories each episode so an enjoyable watch, even if a little repetitive.

  • Grief is the price we pay for love

The story of Catherine de' Medici's rise from outcast to Queen of France interpreted for a modern audience. This entails swearing, misogyny, sex and violence with a modern soundtrack. Samantha Morton as the queen is very good as are the rest of the cast and the costumes and sets are amazing but the story is not that engaging.
