Addresses the spirit of achievement and stereotypes about women in men's mind and society very well. Great movie performances and direction.
The brilliance of Puri is taking a serious criminal issue and spinning it with the hero perpetrating it (Mafia/Pokiri), intentionally ignoring it (Rapes/Temper), inspired by it (Mafia/Businessman) or committing a parallel criminal act (hacking against corruption/ism). By the time you feel guilty for rooting a criminal hero he re-spins again elevating the hero to such humanitarian heights that totally justify their actions.
If the courtroom scene in Temper was jaw dropping, the one in ism is equally good if not better. The dialogues to hero's father were simply riveting "They threatened you about me and you kept quiet fearing for my life. Now they are threatening me about you. if I also keep quiet fearing for your life what is the whole point?" (Goosebumps), "If you must die for the country, so be it. what is greater than dying for your country?" (Goosebumps again).
The love track or logistics of the story have the usual loopholes of being totally wacky for the sake of entertainment which was OK for me as I was well entertained, although first half could have been more engaging.
Songs were awful except for the climax song and heroine looks pretty but was pathetic at acting. Kalyanram did a great job and should elevate his career many folds. J Babu and Bharani did well in their roles.
Overall another Masterstroke for Puri.
