I'll begin by mentioning that I was borderline obsessed with the narrative of "The Last of Us" games. However don't worry there will no gate keeping here.
For me it appears that no zombie apocalypse story is ever just or primarily about zombie apocalypses. They simply Provide an exceptional backdrop for showcasing the extremes of the human condition.
Never is this more true than in "The Last of Us" series. Our protagonists Ellie and Joel's relationship highlights both the truths and lies we tell one another and ourselves as our relationships evolve.
I cant wait to see the expanded world of "The Last of Us" as they have really nailed the aesthetic to a tea and it feels like my former obsession is in the most capable of hands.

This episode is beautiful. It never fails to make me cry. I sometimes watch it just to take a little holiday from life. It makes me appreciate what's truly good in people. Ricky Gervais has a long history of keying into what essentially makes us all tick on an emotional level. Takes everything back to it's square route and makes everything so simple. That's all I need. Ta very much Ricky.
Not very show can be the best one you've ever seen. Nor does it need to be. I'll echo every other review at this point. Space Force has an exceptional headlining cast, huge production value and competent writing. It does struggle with comic pacing though. Which makes some of the jokes fall flat. Or collapse like a flan hidden in a cupboard after you saw it being made (all the set up with Schrödingers pay off)
However the continuity that mattered most to me. Is the kindness and lack of scepticism that arched over the whole season and held through until the end.
It's not very funny. But I smiled all the way through.
