Definitely the best work from the beeb since only fools and horses.
Mackenzie Crook takes you through a gentle insight through the lives of two people, the second being Toby Jones. Both are brilliant. And it's just a kind journey through the trials and tribulations of two lovely characters. I would fully recommend a watch. Mackenzie at his best since The Office. And Jones does a brilliant role. Probably his best after Marvellous. This is the only box set I've had to buy in maybe ten years.
Absolute 10/10 just chill with a cup of tea and watch the brilliance unfold. I'm luck enough to live somewhere like they depict and it's glorious.

People who have rated this poorly really don't understand acting. It's a fresh look at how to do these dramas. It's the most real portrayal I have seen in years. Silence and real life mistakes. People expect everything polished these days. Brilliantly written and amazing acting. Don't listen to the bad reviews. If you like genuinely good portrayals of normal life, watch this. More of the same please.
