A dope-opera of the lowest kind - full of unhappy people going full force to make their lives even MORE unhappy. Nothing positive here and I'm not talking about drooling mind mushed la la la la delusional faux joy, I mean real built on actions that better one's life bringing deserved pride. I thought Costner had really missed the point in Open Range, but sadly he seems to have surpassed that with this waste of electrons.

I've had the fantastic joy of knowing a real cowboy that honored his land and lived as he felt was best for himself and family (who didn't appreciate the gifts he bestowed). His efforts were always for his benefit at HIS 'expense'. He never took from others or his land without decent 'payment' that REpaid and then some. He was an endangered species, as is the 'world we live in' portrayed by this Hollyweird dirge drama.

The high ratings reviews must be done by not regular movie viewers! It was a nature/art video with cover of 'love' story. Boring pace, NO script to speak of and hard to stay with long enough to even find out anything about characters falling in love.

Made me wonder if the industry is returning to 'silent films' only in color?
