Ive watched the movie a couple times now, but mostly due to my ex becoming addicted to the "virtual world" The stories show both the good and bad, but definitely the potential to ruin lives. I watched my ex completely lose himself to the game and honestly its scary. I tried it and could never really get into it. But for a lot of people they really cant get out and its pretty depressing to watch their lives go downhill. I know there are reviews of people unhappy about the movie coming out, and it making people avoid the game. Honestly tho it is true, the moment second life becomes a persons reality, things get pretty awful for the person whos not on it.
Life 2.0 gives a great perspective into what addiction to this game can do to a person. Honestly avoid this game at all costs, especially if you have an addictive personality. Your family will watch your life crumble around you and I watched it myself. It was very depressing.
