I saw this few months ago on Netflix.
The movie has two stories n both r police procedural dramas with solid twist n engaging suspense.
The first story is told via flashback of a rookie cop Anand (Thomas) who is investigating the disappearance of a girl. The investigation leads Anand to a residence of a local priest. Considering the religious angle of the case and religious sensitivities, the cop is removed from the investigation... Back to the present Anand is assigned to investigate a cold murder case of a young woman.... This movie has tons of atmosphere, the rural settings is visually soothing n the performance by the lead Thomas is top notch.

I saw this few months back on Amazon Prime.
Got pulled into seeing this due to the director Joseph who gave the brilliant Dhrishyam franchise.
I enjoyed the movie due to the twists n turns n the rural settings.
The plot is about a junior cop Giri (Asif Ali) who is humiliated by his superior cops.
Giri takes revenge on the senior cops by robbing local homes in the night. This leads to pressure on the seniors. But in doing so Giri's kleptomania gets worse n he continues robbing. During one of his stint he witnesses a suicide n later more similar suicides happens which causes him to believe that it is a work of a serial killer.
The movie has a good unpredictable twist n is aided by the top notch performance by Asif Ali who plays Giri.
Another good thing is the cinematography.
The small hilly village with its mountains, terrains n houses were brilliantly captured.
The night scenes r shot in ample light so one can make out what's going on.

I saw this last night on Netflix.
This movie was on my radar for so many years especially due to its creepy setting (big n isolated mansion) and even more creepy plot of that of a man released from mental asylum n who starts seeing things n is never quite sure if he's really seeing what he's seeing, and neither are we.
The mansion is elaborate, with all the rooms, hallways, pool, etc. The mansion acts as a character itself. The swimming pool is massive but the pool area is downright creepy.
The house and its contents, including the statue (a creepy Sphinx ) are meant to disorient Tom and the audience, making them question the line between reality and hallucination as the plot unfolds.
After having spent 20 years in a mental institution for a violent crime, Tom (Topher Grace) has just been confined/house arrest to his family mansion he inherited after his father committed suicide just few days before his release front the asylum. Tom has to spend 30 days all alone in the big mansion.
Tom sees his dead father n their dead dog. He also gets spooky calls with just heavy breathing.
