The actress, Kaley Cuoco cut her hair for this film, and then showed up for season 8 of TBBT with unexpectedly short hair.

Fans weren't pleased. Writers weren't pleased, but at least we got Burning Bodhi out of it. That's something, I guess.

The actress herself expressed regret over her decision to cut her hair, and she said it was a big mistake. Live and learn.

When James Gunn made Peacemaker season 1, which I gather he wrote during the pandemic when he had more time, I didn't understand why he picked the least interesting character from his Suicide Squad to make a new series for, but it worked.

Season 1 of PM was fresh and the main character had a story arc and the ending was surprising and interesting. Very little television feels like it's new. It's mostly something that's been done before or something that's overly complicated. Gunn pulled off the nearly impossible by bringing us something fresh and new, that's a nice story with consistent characters and interesting drama.

Now season 2 is upon us, and without a whole lot of TV that I find interesting, this moves close to the top of my list at the start. And so far, just one episode in, Gunn has delivered.

The situations the characters find themselves in makes sense. The twist at the end, while predictable, was still clever and it provides the basis on which season 2 will evolve.

The team is mostly still together, except for Harcourt who has her own problems, well, everyone has problems, and that's a good beginning. There are things to work out.

Guy Gardner & Hawkgirl are hillarous. Brother Sean is an interesting take on Maxwell Lord, and he holds his own. It's a good start. I'm looking forward to episode 2.
