I will be honest, when I first saw "Robert Pattinson will be the new Batman", I nearly laughed out loud. "THAT dude?? The teenage vampire!?!? LMAO!!" Then I saw "The Lighthouse" and was WOWED by his performance. Gritty, dirty, insane and drunk.... I started taking the kid a bit more serious.

So, I watched "The Batman"...and holy hell, this kid has got some fu**in' CHOPS! This IS THE Batman movie that we've all needed and WANTED! Dark, painful, dirty, nasty and, again, DARK.... This is what Batman is supposed to be and Robert Pattinson is IT. Damn it I wanted to hate this kid and the vampire movies, but I just CAN'T...and what's more, I don't want to!

He IS BATMAN! This is a movie done RIGHT AND it deserves as many great sequels that are just as insane, nasty and dirty as this movie!

9 out of 10, just because it isn't "Lawrence of Arabia" (which is an 11 out of 10)....but, by God, it's as close to it as a superhero movie can get.

Not sure why so many are upset about the native language being spoken or why it "ruins" it for them. It's pretty neat to listen to the language spoken as it would have been during the time, then again I have a penchant for being able to learn languages fairly quickly (not that I expect to do that from watching a television miniseries). So far it is very credible, from what I know of the history of the Hawaiian Islands and its gritty while still being beautiful. I give it high marks and expect it to be an awesome series to the finish!

I like it so far, it's definitely not the old Night Court but it's beginning (after 3 episodes) to feel a bit familiar.

It certainly wouldn't be as good without John Larroquette....he's definitely the soul of this version. It. Melissa Rauch and Lucretta are funny and seem to be relaxing a bit more in the third episode.

In time it will, I believe, do a bit better and be a little more funny. It sometimes takes these shows some time...especially when it's a reboot of such a beloved show with such a memorable cast.

I'm continuing to watch it and will revisit my rating after a few more episodes.

This is one that I really want to like so I'm giving it a chance.
