Best TV cop show of the 1960's. I watched the show as a kid. I was
8 years old. Real Hardcore NYC background & reality violence.
Loved the intro theme song & images of New York. Found a 9 minute
clip and & intro on youtube.com Now if Hawaii-Five0 is on DVD on
its 4th season, how about NYPD coming on DVD. It would be a hot
seller for the boomer generation.
***New York's World Trade Center wasn't even built when this show ran from 1967 thru 1969. WTC started construction in 1970. A great TV show. Running time 30 minutes. Running time 30 minutes. Reflection of turmoil during 1960's urban cities crime problem.
