Now, I'm a sucker for zombie movies so I've seen almost all of them. And that means I've seen some terrible movies in my years of zombie movies. But this movie was, surprisingly, better than a lot of those I've watched in the past.
It was hilarious, exciting, intelligent (how the scouts came up with their weapons to use to save the seniors' party was very creative) and most importantly, it didn't overstay its welcome at a neat and clean hour and a half. It is gory, but that's par for the course for zombie films. And it wasn't overly gory in my opinion. All in all a good watch, if you liked Sean of the Dead, you will enjoy this movie.

The first season was, without a doubt an 8 out of 10. Girl finds herself dead in her high school, and then meets other ghosts. It was very funny at times, and sufficiently dramatic and exciting when those things were needed. But at the end of the first season, it just started to get a bit over-complicated, and in season 2 it felt like everyone was treading water, and nothing was actually happening. The show just started throwing red herring after red herring, and I could barely get through it.
It ended fine, but there's so many plot threads to tie up and I'm losing patience. It seems like it could have and should have been far better as a two hour movie or a one or two season and done series, rather than dragging it out just because they wanted to.
