  • Slow start, less kills, great VFX

I am a huge fan of the franchise, and to me... this can go on forever. As long as it doesn't go over the top. And to be fair... it nearly touched the surface sometimes being ridiculous or being to PG.

My subjective good and bad points...

GOOD *The VFX were done amazing all the way through!

*DOP was great, every frame was thought about.

*I did like Scarlet in this, although she can be a bit more badass.

*Loved the introduction of new dinosaurs.

*When the action scenes were hitting, it got me often at the edge.

BAD *Some of the decisions taken by characters or things happening throughout, were absolutely ridiculous. It spoils it for me. (Ex: rubber boat in a T-Rex mouth didnt had any holes.) *I didn't understand the introduction of Dolores... or maybe it it something happening on longterm? But didn't add much, except cuteness *The kills were too low, and very predictable who was gonna go (the side characters and the bad guys).

*Fan of Jonathan, but I just didn't feel his role working in this movie. The nerdy scientist fits great in a mummy adventure movie, but this movie needs a bit more of bad-ass characters. You are dealing with massive carnivores.

*The start of the movie was a bit slow... although appreciating it to introduce all characters.

I wouldn't say it's the best out of the series, but also not the worst. It feels closer to the original material, and felt like an introduction movie to a new trilogy. Still find it an entertaining franchise, and this is worth watching at the cinema!

  • GIVE ME PART 2!

I waited years for this movie adaptation and boy did it not disappoint! Every frame is full of colour, breathtaking sets and detailed costumes. Give some awards!

Both, Cynthia and Ariana, were amazing. I am looking forward to the further arc of the characters and how they will lay even more into it, as part 2 becomes darker.

All casting was on point, the VFX are done amazing, the singing for once sounds natural (!!!).

I don't know if a non-Wicked/musical fan would love it, but if you kinda can endure musicals and never seen Wicked, I am sure this will bring you to it.

There were some very minor small flaws to it, but I am very impressed and pleased about this adaptation.

A lot of love and care went into this! Thank you director and producers. Now give me part 2!

  • Missed opportunity

This movie could have been something, but had a lot of missed opportunities and faults: 1) FKA Twigs: Unfortunately she was the down-fall mostly. Acting wasn't great. It was a 1-tone performance. Didn't believe anything of their attraction.

    2) Music: Wrong kind of music all over the movie, which pulled the rythm and style down. It should've been darker and more metal/rock/electro.

    3) Locations: honestly, the opera? So done already, last scene with the buildup. Seen it many times. The flat borrowed from a friend, looked like a studio. It wasn't great.

    4) Writing: the dialogue was so cringe, i couldn't even keep watching. I just wanted them not to talk, and just fight.

This movie could have been grittier and darker, more raw. It was too polished actually and there were a lot of decisions made which didn't make sense.

This should've gone straight to digital.
