Sorry guys, but giving this movie a 1/10 is just stupid. I have not read the book, but the movie is great! Yes, it has some quirks, but which one does not? Listen, the portrayal of love, pain, trauma, fear, friendship, abusive relationships as well as integrity, bravery or kindness is mastered absolutely fantastically. The camera and shots are in every frame just perfect, the music supports the movie perfectly and the actors are just on another level! Thumbs up! You might find all a bit too less dramatic maybe, but from my perspective, the movie has all. For me, stylistically, Baldoni did a fantastic job on all levels... Yeah haters gona hate, but see the movie for what it is and for the message it carries. Read in between lines and feel it - I think the chemistry between the actors is just perfect. Blake Lively, love you, what an actress.

I realy don't understand the negative reviews. This episode, I under very strange circumstances skipped and after the 18th episode of this series returned to... Wau, what a treat. The story of longing, loneliness, love and desperation in times of war belongs to one of the best. This is such pure and human display of our lives in difficult times. I love the intertwining story lines that create and outstanding story. Katee Sackhoff as Kara is outstanding as ever, all other actors play second violin in this episode. Her struggle is real and tangible, displaying her personality traits perfectly, hence she is absolutely believable. Thumbs up for this one!
