Very good adaptation of a great book. Once again the Brits bring their game to the table, excellent and realistic acting and gritty drama. Aparently, there is a US version, not going to even bother. This series is also available on You Tube, worth a watch.
So predictable, the oldest ùnderage'students I have ever seen. It´s fine if you just want something easy to watch, the acting is not too bad. The few actual dance scenes are great, all a bit wokey, everyone loves everyone in the end type of stuff. Doubt very much actuall dance academies and schools are like that. The soundtrack is good though.
To be fair it is a ghost story rather than a harror story. It´s reasonable watching, however the accent of the narrator (she could not decide where she was supposed to be from), Quint´s accent was embarassing, why not let him speak in his normal voice? and the desperately irritating voices of the children nearly had me reaching for the off button several times. Frankly the most scary thing about it is the overuse of the word ´splendid
