  • Not quite a touchdown, but it was a long field goal.

Leatherheads was not a much fun as I thought it was going to be. But, it was good. The visuals of pro-football in the 1920,s was great. The chemistry between the main characters was spirited. When I think back on the movie, I did have a good time. I cannot think of anything bad in the film but it I guess I think I was looking for more.

Now for the positives. It was funny and had some great scenes that had me laughing pretty good. The story has a couple of twists and turns that kept me interested in the movie.

I do recommend seeing this film and it will be pretty good for the family. Grsb a tub of popcorn and enjoy the show.

  • Best Racing Movie/Documentary

I cannot add anything that hasn't already been said. You cannot rank this movies with others. You have to rank it on what it is. If you like movies that tell some history by letting the events unfold naturally and does not use a lot of caddy humor and substandard story lines, and you happen to love the late 60's early 70's road racing. Then this is a 8-10 rating. Otherwise you will not care for it.

As others have mentioned, the cars are real. In fact, the car in which Steve McQueen drives is reportedly the same car that place 2nd at the 12 Hours of Sebing that same year. It was filmed during the running of the 1970 24 Hours of Le Mans with additional scenes filmed afterwards.

Great Movie. I wish there were more like this.

  • Another Low-budget Car Chase Film.

You have to like it for what it is. It is a cheep car movie with Corey Feldman and Jan Michael Vincent in it. It doesn't matter what else happens. That is what defines this one. With that said. It was fun. I enjoy the low budget car films. This has the car chases, a little t-n-a and a few big names and an odd cameo. First the cars and chases. You have a Corvette, a few Porshes, a Ferrari, a Jaguar and a few Mustanges. Chad McQueen, Steve McQueen's son, at one point drives a green 1968 Mustang Fastback I guess as a tribute to Bullett in which his father stared. The chases are good, not great. You can tell that one car is attached to a camera truck during one of the chases. The story is about what you would expect. Not going to elaborate. The stars. Well Chad McQueen is not his dad but is well suited for the lead in a low budget car film. Corey Feldman is ...well... Corey Feldman. Michael Madsen plays a guy like Michael Madsen would play. Jan Michael Vincent, I think had a motorcycle accident before this movie was made and his face looks like it went through a meet grinder. But he fits the over all theme of this movie. LOW BUDGET. Dom Delouis plays the worst role I think he has ever played. And if you watch close Ron Jeremy pops up twice in the film. Don't get me wrong. If you like cheesy low-budget car films, this will hit the spot. If you are looking for Bullett. Not it.
