Hey Woody, no offense, but I loved this movie.... it really reminded me of your lighter days.....don't be cruel, but Peter Bogdanovich has done a great job of continuing the Woody Allen genre...
I loved Imogen's NY-ish accent...wow, pretty realistic most of the time - way better than what I have been trying for 20 years :(, I would not have believed that she is British ;).... Honey, I love what you did on this film....time to try out for the CIA - you really have a wonderful way with accents, just as an alternative ;)
It was a really nice light hearted movie....I am hoping for a Woody successor, am Peter certainly presents a very good case.

Somewhat slapstick, but I think it was well written, nicely sequenced and the actors performed well. It was a great late night watch and I cannot complain.
I laughed my head off in more than a few scenes and I don't laugh easily ;) at most things that amuse others. For example, I found Fargo and Pulp Fiction to be hilarious!
Emilis has done a good job directing the film. A bit of Coen favor, some shades of Guy Ritchie and of course some inspiration from Tarantino.
Overall a good one time watch. unlikely to be a classic, but IMO much better than other stuff that masquerades as comedy!

Seems so nostalgically Allen. the dark humor. the flawless acting - marvelous actually. the casting - Wow!! the vintage scenery, costumes- except Mark Strong// Not sure why they decided to outfit him with the ill fitting jacket - totally out of tune with the 1930's Milanese London couture!
the music, just mellifluous!
are you sure? To me at least, there were ample flavours of Allen.
Either way, a very mice movie.
Well cast, well acted and obviously well directed.
Bharat - nalla irikka - awesome job!! Keep up the good work and pump out more of these fantastic products.
