F4 2025 takes a good old days twist by putting us back into the 1960s look with modern technology. We get very little coverage about their adventure that caused their change into superheros. They just are. The big news is that Sue is expecting a baby.

A large part of the store revolves around the expected child. When Galactus arrives he wants to consume yet another planet. The FF try to prevent that from happening.

There are no big surprises in this movie. There are a few good fights. But like most of these FF movies, it lacks a punch. You get not much from Ben. Torch flies a lot. But the movie never really grabbed me until the end. The ending was pretty good and as all marvel flicks, opens the sequel door.

Overall an ok movie. Ok acting. Ok story. Just ok Enjoy.

Jurassic Rebirth is just as expected. I had low expectations, and they were met.

There is excellent CGI throughout. Heartpounding chase scenes. Bigger, scarier dinosaurs. People get killed during all this, of course. Will they make it there safely? Will they make it out safely?

The script added a random family on a random boat that became part of the story. I guess they only added this part because the film time would have been too short if only the main characters were included.

Mahershali Ali is terrific as the world-weary boat captain. Scarlett J is, as expected as the mercenary - tough but caring. Then there's the required dinosaur expert who wonders at them in real life. Of course, there's the required bad guy who is looking to profit from all this.

The story is a retread with a different cast and a different location. The chase scenes just keep coming on and on because, without them, there would be no story. I jumped out of my seat several times as they built up suspense. But that was really all there was to this movie because the story is not complicated.

If you have nothing else to see that you haven't already seen this summer, like was the case for me, you could invest your ticket to see this movie. While nothing special, it is 2 hours of escape from the real world with two really good actors. Enjoy.

The newest version of Superman reminds me of the shucks, oh well attitude of Spiderman. Superman is misunderstood, just like Spider-Man. He's doing good things, but people are blaming him for stuff, just like Spiderman.

Superman is brought down to Earth in this film. He shows human responses and compassion much more strongly than previous versions. He has complications with his love life. All this while he's trying to come to grips with some unexpected news delivered by Lex Luthor.

The Lex Luthor character is extremely angry at all things Superman. Forget the funny Gene Hackman version - this time, this guy really hates Superman at the core. Luthor is so smart and has figured out a way to get to Superman from different angles.

The story is just ok. The addition of Krypto the super dog adds levity. Lois Lane is pretty good. They downplayed the role of Perry White while they upplayed the role of Jimmu Olson. That was a unique twist.

We got to see two new versions of his Krypton parents and his Earth parents. You can understand how Clark Kent is confused by the unexpected news, just as you can see why he has such compassion for people because of his kind parents.

The fortress of solitude has robots, and they are pretty cool. They steal the show.

The story has several threads that eventually get pulled together. There's a war somewhere in the Middle East, and some shady characters do bad things, and somehow Superman gets blamed.

Eventually, the story gets pulled together, and there's a decent ending. It is not an outstanding story. There were, at times, too many different things going on that made it hard to follow. But the acting is decent enough, and the newness and excitement are there, so I'm generally pleased with the final results.

I hope that the next follow-up has more of a solid, connected story. Glad to have Superman back. Enjoy.
