I watched this classic based on Ahmet Çakar's recommendation. He emphasized that it was really scary and he almost couldn't handle it when he watched it back then in his teenage years.
To be honest I neither found it scary nor I really enjoyed it. It was supposed to be a timeless classic as it is regarded so by many, however I couldn't see the reason behind this hype.
People act kind of weird, horror scenes look amateur. The events that occured were too detached from eachother with no back story, especially the story of Daniel, the pianist.
Inspite of all my critic I loved the music. It definitely fits perfectly.
Maybe it would have been different if I had had the opportunity to watch it back in 1977...

They made the perfect movie for such nights. It is a heart-warming easy to watch movie without any kind of mystery, tragedy or anything similar that would upset you even more.
Of course it is not a masterpiece and nobody expects it to be. Simple story, great acting and the vast blue of Mediterranean sea...
Since I am no expert movie critic, I'm not able to determine what inspires it, but there is always some warmth in Spanish movies. They deliver you a feeling as if you could have known these people or that you had been a neighbour living around the corner. Is it the acting? I don't know what but I like it.

In this one Cem Yilmaz reaches his Top Performance, the jokes are unbelievable good. The worst thing about it, it contains very high amount of inside jokes, so i don't think that someone can understand and enjoy it if (s)he is not native Turkish...
my suggestion to all viewers: please be sure that you watched most of other stand up shows and videos, because after this one your standards raise so much that you won't be able to like another show again(in Turkish language)...
