Denzel is a powerhouse capable of carrying the movie on his shoulders, but e could Denzel is a powerhouse capable of carrying the movie on his shoulders, but he could have used a little help from someone. Namely, editors. Cut 30 minutes out of the movie and you would have something a lot more interesting.

I couldn't believe I'd never heard of this film until yesterday. At least now I can scratch it off my list.
More than anything, I hate the whole idea off Las Vegas, where your dreams can come true, like it's a playpen for damaged adults who think you can get something for nothing. I realize that's what he was trying to get at with the "Shangri-la" but the movie is still probably on the banned list for gamblers anonymous.
Then there is the idea of luck, both good and bad. As an atheist, I don't believe in either.
