This is probably the first time I've truly loved a movie that almost nobody else seems to like it. Honestly, if I had known anything about it beforehand, I probably wouldn't have watched it at all.
But I'm glad I did. I was glued to the screen from start to finish, I even sat through the credits!
The thing is: this isn't a movie for everyone. In fact, it's not a movie that the average viewer will easily understand. It captures the stress of working behind a monitor, desperately trying to make sense of a situation remotely, hacking or finding workarounds to achieve something in ways that were never intended. All of this while the clock is ticking, the calls from multiple parties don't stop, new information keeps flooding in, and a news feed plays in the background adding to the mental chaos. Most people simply can't relate to that environment, many won't even grasp what's really happening.
The pacing felt spot on. The scenes were delivered in just the right measure, not too much, not too little, and the plot unfolded at a rhythm that kept me engaged. I found no major plot holes, though I'll admit the story isn't flawless. The acting had its "meh" moments too. But despite that, it worked. At least for me, it was pure entertainment.

Low expectations always helps to have a good impression if a movie it's not spectacular. But in this case I found myself having a great time watching it. Everything works in a movie that could easily follow that dark road that others movies based on a game usually failed to evade.
It was well though, not to much context not to little, good actions sequences, decisions that actually make sense in a Fantasy world they understood that they still needed to follow rules...like D&D.
The characters are likeable, not to many, they fell into the context, without those out of nothing changing rules characters that plague this and others genera.
Definitely a movie I would recommend if you like the theme and want to have an easy good time.

I was not expecting this to be a great movie, but it could be an Ok film they had given some thought about how to end it...
