What a movie! The story is simple, yet executed in such a terrific way that it keeps you glued to the screen from start to finish. This is exactly how a good thriller should be crafted-tight, engaging, and suspenseful. Fahad delivers a powerful performance, while Vadivelu impresses with his presence. Full credit goes to the director for pulling everything together so effectively. A must-watch for thriller fans!
"Straw's storyline is typical: a destitute mother struggles to survive with her daughter, a plight that tragically leads her to bank robbery. The film offers little originality or genuine thrill, resulting in a rather boring experience. While the lead performance is adequate, the story itself brings nothing special to the genre. It's easily skippable.
The only saving grace of "No Good Deed" is Idris Elba's fantastic performance. He breathes life into an otherwise dead movie, which suffers from a very weak script and a small, uninspired premise. While there's a minor twist, an experienced movie watcher will see it coming from a mile away. It's an okay one-time watch, but I wouldn't recommend it.
