I have no idea how I missed this movie for 6 years! This is a great movie. If you are into horror, especially possession horror, you will definitely enjoy this. Looking at some of the reviews, a lot of people gave this film a lower rating than their comments - I'm not sure how you say something is a great movie and then give it a 6. The acting and story is solid.
I only have 2 critiques on this one. First, it's dark. Some scenes could have used just a little more brightness. Most of the scenes where it's too dark, they are doing things you don't necessarily need to see, but again, I'd have added just a little more light to those. My other critique is the cussing. I'm sure there would have been some cussing during what happened, but there's just hundreds and hundreds of cuss words, which personally I could do without.

I really liked the first couple of Jeepers Creepers, but it's really time to stop I think. This movie has a very different feel that the rest of the movies, and really came off as more of a slasher type of movie than a continuation of Jeepers Creepers. There is a heavy reliance on green screen/CGI, and definitely not in a good way. Part of the first movies was that they sort of kept the look of the creeper hidden, at least for the most part. Now, it's like....let's just show as much of him as we can because it's really kind of over.
If you look at this as just a horror movie and not a continuation of the franchise, it's not quite as bad, but this really just didn't live up to my expectations.

Move along....there's nothing to see here! If you're reading reviews to actually figure out if you want to watch this or not, then don't. This is just a run of the mill slasher movie where the slasher happens to be Popeye. I thought maybe somehow with the character being Popeye, this might be somewhat entertaining, but it wasn't.
The premise is that a bunch of twenty-somethings go to the house where Popeye was drowned as a kid to fix it up. Terror ensues, and Popeye, who stalks the place, kills everyone. While watching this, all I could really think of was Friday the 13th with Popeye instead of Jason. Then at the end they tell you a back story that sounds a lot like the Nightmare on Elm Street story.
