Remember a time when entertainment lived up to it's name and entertained you?
Remember a time when TV shows, movies and theatre were places we escaped to for a few hours respite from the madding crowd?
Remember a time when political statements were reserved mainly for politicians?
Remember a time when we went to Church / Synagogue / Mosque / Temple to be lectured to and chastised by those who (we hoped) were morally & ethically "better"?
If you do remember those days and look back on them fondly, then this show is NOT FOR YOU!!
If you are tired of everyone being offended, and blaming various colours, genders and sexualities for all that is wrong in this world (especially cis-gendered heterosexual white males) then this is only the show for you IF you have extreme MASOCHISTIC tendencies!!
If you can't get enough of gratuitous virtue signaling then pull up a chair and BINGE out on season 3!!
The lead character Max Goodwin.(Ryan Eggold) started off as a nice-enough guy battling with starting a new job, adapting to changing personal situations etc. And you actually feel for the man and root for him - in season 1 Season 2 - his changed circumstances and his corresponding angst etc really gets dragged on a bit long, but not so long that you give up on the show.
Season three - personally, I'd put a match to it!!
There are better (and worse) shows out there that don't shove their agenda down my throat!

Leaving the fact that this completely DESTROYS the entire premise of the original movie aside...
This is puerile cr@p- the acting ( I use the term VERY loosely) is beyond atrocious,
to the point that at 35 minutes I had to ask myself What am I doing watching this!!

2 dimensional,weak plot t o start, and the director does nothing to flesh out his characters or their motivation.
