Every action movie cliche line is in this script. Most scenes feel like a high schooler wrote them.
Jessica Chastain is an award winning actress, and all her lines are GOD AWFUL.
The movie centers on Sophie Turner, who I'm assuming did a good job in GOT, but struggles in this. Whether she's not a great actress or just the awful script - it's unwatchable. I started writing this review 40 minutes in and I still haven't changed my mind.
James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender carry this film. McAvoy in particular is phenomenal.
Jennifer Lawrence is always amazing, even with the awful script, but her scenes are short lived. The other Xmen barely do any lifting and it's inmemorable at best.

This show is 100% junk food, completely soapy yet violent. It's only saving grace is the selection of music (not from the speakeasy, I assure you) and Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones. The way he portrays the character is intoxicating and it's perhaps the only intelligently written character. FP is also well written and portrayed.
Dark Betty, is an interesting concept but she doesn't really pull it off, the drama between the Lodges is utterly over the top and ridiculous, dark Archie is again, not very believable and kind of repetitive.
All the parents in the show except FP and Fred Andrews are ridiculous, even more than the teenagers at times. The villains are hit or miss, some temporary characters performances enhance the show and some are repetitive and exaggerative.

Started this on a friends recommendation at midnight. Finished at 9:30am. I messaged every friend I thought would listen that they needed to watch and they all have the same reaction.
Storyline is interesting and moves along quickly. Character development is fantastic, especially for JJ, Ward and Sarah. Easily one of the best shows I've watched in years. I really hope they are greenlit for more seasons.
It's like an older cast with the chemistry of Stranger Things meets the epic tale Treasure Island. You know the basic plot, but they throw in unexpected twists and storylines that intertwine in surprising ways.
